There are times when we feel overwhelmed, not by anything serious, but people always trying to get on your nerves. It is so easy to ignore them if it was just someone you met once, and you'll probably never see again. However, it becomes such a big deal when it is your colleague in the office, your roommate, or someone in a position where no matter how hard you try to avoid em, you just have to cross paths. A neighbor sometimes.
Usually the best thing to do is to call the person to order and make them realize that you don't like what it is their doing. However, some folks are so incorrigible that they are always looking for the slightest reason to start a fight. In that case, confronting them might not be such a good idea, cos it usually ends up with exchange of profanities and other curse words that should not be said. You are way much bigger than that, you can't let someone drag you into a cat fight, You have to maintain class and dignity. However, you are not a foot mat, and you sure should not be treated that way.
There are not so many ways to handle a troublesome person, but one way I can bet you is so not by dragging yourself in the mud with callousness. They are used to it, that's all they care about, but you though are a man of dignity and class. The best way to go about this is to show you can think better. Focus more on your work, if they get in the way of your work, you can always take it up with the boss.
If it's a creepy neighbor, other neighbors are on guard, if you find someone extremely aggravating, chances are other neighbors think the same way. If you find a coworker extremely aggravating, chances are other workers feel the same way too, and in due time, they sure would rally round you, and annoying people usually learn their lessons, or just go away. I don't know how it happens, but they always go away somehow.
Keep your Class, don't get petty. You are sure to make it. Thinking about an annoying person has helped me do something productive, which is update my blog, something I haven't done in a long time.
